Sabai grass is a locally available and widely grown plant in most forest parts of India. Sabai grass grows till a height of 1 to 1.5 meters. The leaves are cut and dried on the sun light. The dried leaves are twisted and rolled in either pedal operated or power operated small machine to produce the rope. Sabai rope making machine is a 0.25HP electric motor operated machine which enable to produce upto 5kg ropes per hour with continuous operation.
